Ive used counterbores before, but only miles away from where i am now, so i cant just go rummage through the draws.
I need to counterbore the rear side of a panel, with pre-drilled 3mm holes, to a depth of 0.5mm, and a width of about 4mm (although can be larger)
Im thinking a pin counterbore - but i cant alter the 3mm pilot
This is to sink 3mm leds into the back of a panel, so as they stick out the front further. I cant easily cnc it so im just looking to do it by hand on the drill press.
Can someone point me in the right direction of a retailer?
I recall using parts before, where you select the pin you want, and then glue? it into the right size counter bore - so the pin and dia of the bore are independant - but im fine with buying an all-in if i can find one the right size - again, i cant alter the 3mm diameter hole at all.
Thank you.
