NGK B4 equivalents

Been advised NGK B-4 (3210) are unavailable the replacement is NGK BPR5EY

However the heat range is different B4=4 the BPR5EY=5

Engine is running really well on the B4.

Has anyone suggestions on an equivalent to the B4

It may pay to try/experiment with them Mr Shox, the correct heat range of the plug to suit leaded high octane fuels available in the 1950`s would be way different to one running on modern fuel.

Not looked to be honest. I’d rather use my local motor factors, they always sort me out with a good deal. And if you dont buy from them you can hardly complain if they shut.

If there are any equivalents of them with other manufacturers I can look in my collection, all new, most boxed. Lodge, Wipac, Smiths, Champion, Bosch and possibly a few others. I did make a list of them all at one point, I shall see if I can find it. My dad bought a job lot.
