Thats it UNIMOG.....cool name.......no idea what they do but they dont use them much....seem to be there all the time...unless theres more
If you want to see if yours actually swam see if you can unscrew any of the tail/side or indicator glass lenses,if they unscrew easy then it hasn't been for a dip,these had to be sealed water tight otherwise it blew the electrics,the amout of lenses we had to break just to change the bulb was a jokeYes its got the B81 rolls straight eight petrol lump in there which is a seriously thirsty beast of an engine , the plan was to convert it to diesel and use this on some of the river work we do . I bought a big hp cummins to go in there but not had the chance to go spy on one that Budge converted, nothing can be done with the gearing which limits the petrol to about 40mph so the diesel will be a lot slower. Budge fitted a step up box between the the engine and gearbox to sort this .
