Who on earth needs 9 chopping boards.
I’d say 4-5 at the most but 9??
Any way my mum text me last week. She’s overloaded her cheap flimsy chopping board rack for the last time and it’s fallen to bits.
Can I make her one? Eh really. Ain’t they cheap enough?
Well any way the requirements:-
Heavy duty, modern, neat and attractive enough to have out in the kitchen and if possible something that won’t look out of place with the rest of her stuff. She’s got the “copper” theme going on in there.
Cheers mum. Not asking much are we.
So I’m thinking a simple stainless rack with 9 vertical spaces to slot the boards into. A brushed stainless flat rectangular base with upright tubes to separate the boards. Simple and tried and tested design. Ref the copper well I have tried an idea that seems to work well. I simply fill the End of the tube with silicon bronze brazing wire and machine up to suit. Eh whalla copper tips. Not in your face but a nice touch.
Very bleeding time consuming. Good job it’s for mum.
