Morning guys.
Do any of you chaps no what type of material is used on plant trailer floors. Mine is getting a bit tired and will be in need of replacement. Normal plywood isn't the correct stuff

There's two different sorts:
One is smooth both sides, one is rough one side.

The smooth side is *lethal* if wet/oily.

I only mention it because I got some second hand [1] and it was smooth both sides, and totally unsuitable for trailer flooring.

Good point. The top side of the board is textured

you need the textured stuff

the smooth stuff isn't make for floors etc.. I bought some by mistake, it's apparently made to be used as shuttering for concrete... the smooth sides give you a nice face on the concrete and stop it sticking

the proper stuff is awesome, lasts for years even with loads of abuse

That’s the one I couldn’t remember, and I’ve looked at half a sheet stood in the shed today

Recently I’ve takento useing steel need to add a few cross members so can use sensible thickness. Dosent do trailer any favours weight wise. But means scraping trailer out dosent trash the bed
