For want of a better title I decided upon this.
I'll be uploading more pics as I get the chance to photograph the book. The two part volume 'Machine Tools' is from 1911 and features some of the most up to date machinery from the era - it's a fantastic set and I highly urge you to seek a set out. There's also a set on heat engines which is less impressive but equally interesting.
@bigegg @The_Yellow_Ardvark @spencer 427 @eLuSiVeMiTe and @MattF I said I would post some pics from my big books and so here you go, starting with the ever popular topic, lathes!
These books have lift-the-flap illustrations which can be explored via the key - lots of flaps, lots of drawings, really amazing stuff. I bought them last August whilst in the UK for eighty quid the pair which is pretty good going as I've seen sets go for over 200! I've still not read them fully but here are some illustrations I think you lot will like
@MattF I think you'd like this one
H&S field day
Something for you @spencer 427
Another amazing drawing
You see how complicated these are
And idk why but power hacksaws are in the lathe section - only one pic
More to come
