Where I lived before we had conifer hedges, good for quick privacy, but hard work to keep on top of. Eventually I got sick, as thed been neglected before we bought the house they were just too big at the base. Now Im lucky enough to have my nearest neighbour behind a cpise of trees 500 yards away, so no hedges required.
