24-48 hour courier..

Just a massive thumbs up to the Royal Mail.

Ordered around 1330 yesterday, arrived at 1015 this morning.

Far better than DHL who failed to collect 2 shipments last week - they ended up going with a different courier entirely.

It’ll take me a week to fit it now though in all honesty

Always been very happy with royal mail/parcel force. Every courier mucks it up from time to time, were only human.

Only reason I don't use them more is because they are stupidly expensive, 3 or 4 times more than the other couriers sometimes.

Never had an issue with Royal Mail or Parcel Force delivering stuff.

For sending I normally use DPD booked through ParcelMonkey and drop off locally. DPD Drivers that deliver to us have always been awesome and I've got to know some of them, beers given on special occasions. And there's a hot DPD driver, Elaine, in the Glenrothes area...

We used to get deliveries from a UPS driver who liked the Lara Croft look, she had long black ponytail, round shades and shorts

She delivers from the Edinburgh depot to my work - but deliveries to my home would come from the Dundee depot... however I got chatting to the DPD fella from the Dundee depot last night as he delivered something; he is well aware himself of this renowned lass from the Edinburgh depot!

And, as an aside, we got chatting about working for DPD over other companies as they seem to be far happier in their jobs than many others; he mentioned that one of the guys at his depot was paid £71k last year...

Royal mail won't leave anything with a neighbour. Won't try and redeliver if you're not in. (Did they even ring the bell). Forcing you to wait a whole day before you are able to have to fetch it from the local office and have to hope they accept the ID you take. Are expensive. Impose so many restrictions on size and content that it's just far too much trouble to use them. The couriers around my way will knock on several doors to find someone to take the parcel in and leave you a note. Royal Mail won't do that, even if you offer to take it in for the neighbour.
