Having been there a few times part of the appeal is the fact there aren't many people there , that said I've only been in the winter it may be rammed during the summer.

As it happens the Fogcutter Bar is a real place and it does look like they have a good time.One of the events is the "Summer Pole Fitness Show".

There is a girl in one of the pictures wearing a T-shirt with the slogan "Men are like beers, some go down better than others"

It does look like a fun night out

Having been there a few times part of the appeal is the fact there aren't many people there , that said I've only been in the winter it may be rammed during the summer.

As it happens the Fogcutter Bar is a real place and it does look like they have a good time.One of the events is the "Summer Pole Fitness Show".

It was a great bar. We're in Juneau today and had an early pint in the Red Dog Saloon

. Another fine establishment. Sawdust on the floor, swing doors, a real wild west feel about it.

It is an amazing place, it's the one place I've been in the USA that fully gets our sarcastic British humour.

If you go to Anchorage I fully recommend The Moose's Tooth pub and pizzeria, home brewed beers and pizza to die for and you have to get the mozzarella sticks as a starter.

I've been 5 times but only in the winter, I really want to see the midnight sun but I scared going in the summer will ruin it for me.

It is an amazing place, it's the one place I've been in the USA that fully gets our sarcastic British humour.

If you go to Anchorage I fully recommend The Moose's Tooth pub and pizzeria, home brewed beers and pizza to die for and you have to get the mozzarella sticks as a starter.

We started from Anchorage, working our passage down to Vancouver. We've never done a cruise before. To be honest, a few hours in one spot doesn't appeal. But for a first visit it's not too bad.
