Just checked, not at home so not on the same WiFi connection, I can see the history and stuff but can’t control Alexa from here

I only need the echo to respond to a voice command, in the house, and send four messages to local family, who all have the Alexa app.

The echo is always connected to WiFi.

It shouldnt be this difficult, should it?

I think it uses the phone to send messages

That could work if it connects to my phone via the net.

only works on sms in states :-(, doesnt work on whatsapp, doesnt work on facebook group messenger
family is installing "groupme" to make it work
