well thats the way my house is looking at the minute.......Ive finally had a tidy up and now its tidy enough for me to make a mess again......and I've even managed to find some floor space too.

in anyone else's house this would be "living" room

a "dining" room.....I now planning on rebuilding the bonnet for my Triumph Herald in there.

and a bedroom

now Ive tidied up, its time to get on with projects and make a mess again

there is no point in having a 3 bedroom house for me to live in on my own .......a 3 workshop house makes perfect sense though well it does to me anyway.

its all cosmetic, it'll I just need to get an illness and bad lucky story and then I can get DIY SOS in to fix it, then the landlord won't be any the wiser.

at least its clean I went to a house to change a bathroom light . stunk of ammonia . dried dog turds all over the place that had turned to dust being stood on . the filthy fat lazy slob had no excuse

As BT apprentice I went to some houses where you didn't need to clip the cable to the skirting, it just stuck there with all the detritus. You daren't stand in one spot too long or your shoes would permanently stick to the carpet. "Would you like a cup of tea?" Only if it comes with a tetanus jab

did it have a doormat saying wipe your feet on the way out I went to one job and said to the tart have u been burgled . her no why . me just wondered she was that thick she didn't know what I was getting at surprised no one ever complained about me on the callouts just saying it as it is for a laugh

When in banking, we used to go 'debt collecting'. Rules were 1) you never went alone 2) you never sat down 3) you never, ever accepted anything to eat or drink.

I've been in places where the front door was the only door to the property, the others + skirtings/framing etc had been torn out and burned in the fireplace. Another had a large hole kicked out through the plasterboard walls to provide a shortcut "for the bairns" to save them walking along the hall to access the other [doorless] room. But there was always a big colour telly......

strictly speaking I'm guessing that should be 5 and the other two wern't included as they arn't in the house

I've got the clarke temporary garage in my garden as a workshop, but due to condensation issues its only really usable in summer, and why I've tidied my "living" room up so that I can work in there from late autumn to spring.

and then of course there is my garage, which is limited for space.

now I wonder if I could get away with having a bigger lathe and milling machine in my "living" room.......no problem, just need to remove the front window and fit some french doors. with the floors being concrete its a viable option.

.......just kidding on that I think I'd better keep machinery out of the house, but a tig welder isnt machinery is it. .

no its a semi detatched house, my neighbours are used to me now, I've lived here for 40 years and my next door neighbour has lived there for about 25 years now
