It'' a while ago. My friends company got the call to empty a shed. The company where only interested in the cement mixed and stuff.
So my friend says can I store some stuff on your garage . It was there ages. Told him to get it moved.
His reply just take this for the storage. Need a wee bit of work. Oh it'''s dad'

This was the other box of spanners an sockets i got with the britool set, There was a couple of add sockets that had a spline inside not seen any before, Marked up SIMPLEX 24443.

One of those "Ill put cheeky bid in" moments and darned if I didn't win it for not a lot 
Research so far seems to indicate it's a Villiers Simplte Mk4 sludge pump and not very common at the shows so worth doing up
It's missing the cover over the chain/pump crankshaft so I'll just have to keep my fingers out

The guy I collected the pump from had a shed and 2 garages full of engines, his main problem he said was deciding which ones to take to each show

I believe he kept the engine though and presumably someone had the pump for spares

I'm the same sometimes, this came as part of a joblot, took me while to identify it as a Suffolk Iron Foundry engine

If you make a guard, make it out of mesh so the sprockets can be seen, it will look great!
The only time I've seen those plastic ones used they broke, I've always managed to get them on and off with just my thumbs. The trick is to get the opposite side of the tyre as deep into the rim as possible so you have as much slack where you are working. If you're really struggling then a bit of washing up liquid on the rim edge does help BUT make sure you wash off before you go riding, disc brakes aren't affected but rim brakes can be.BUT ...I can't fit them until I get some tire levers ...I have been to 5 bike shops in two local towns looking for tire levers ....one shop had two of the metal one's only two ....and no one had the wide plastic levers that don't mess up the light black alli rims...so I ordered some on line ...waiting ...

You've clearly not tried getting Kevlar bead tyres on and off Araya RM17 rims...
The metal levers are a lot kinder to rims if you put heatshrink sleeving over them, the BT-issue adhesive-lined is perfect for the job...

True but oil and grease dont play well with paper.
Id buy it digitally if I could. Slim pickings for machining e books.
Making use of the laminator again today.
Tapping charts.
Have a folder in the garage.
Anything I have to look up il print for future reference.
Every bike manual ive owned was scanned printed and laminated too.
Also picked up a wenner grease gun for a quid. Slim pickings today.
A broken bennet black widow to make a pair. needs new bands.

Spent a while print screening tables then found that one with everything as a pdf.
11 doublesided pages.
