What can i make...

I have been given a large piece of pipe and i am looking for ideas as to what i can turn it into.

Its approx 3 foot long and 2 and a half foot in diameter. 3/8 thick...made out of steel.

I know i could make a fire pit but what else would lend its self to?

Cut it straight down the middle, length ways.
Cut out the inner guts, leaving a 6inch border in each piece.
Stud the border with some flanged nuts and bolts.
Weld it back up into a "S" shape, one half of the radius butted to the other.

Chuck it on it's side with a nice slab of timber or a glass top and you got your self a cutting edge industrial coffee table.

I was hoping for slightly more useful suggestions.
I was hoping someone might say it could make a good tandori oven but not sure you can slap naans onto the steel sides.lol
