Normally a micro b on vape sticks.

Never charged mine via usb.
Couple of nightcore chargers to bung the cells in.

No it's not the new one that pic I put up I was thinking it was wrong it was the back connections that looked right as on mine there are that meny pins

most usb are 5 pin, have a look on hsm electronics page, its a decent Chinese manufacturers web page with specs to help you identify what you need.

If it's used for power and not data transfer they may not include all the pins. Some portable power packs I have are like this.

from looking on rs components( i tryed the japanise site but its hard to look thorugh as there is so much of it) its vertial mount micro usb socket

no data just power looking on the back its only 4 pins soldered i assume 2 ground 2 positive or 3 neg 1 pos the outer metal what is gound and the 2 outside pins of the socket

Ok update revived the socket and was not sure it was actually the problem but

you can see how small the solder bits needed to be the metal you see is a pin for sowing 1st pic the and the 2nd pic after clean up is the item now charging so looking like the new £2 usb socket is working and the 3rd is my new and used a few times new glasses that I needed to see what I was doing there not great but work ok for the £8 from China these are from a different thread but helped in the soldering and I now know I need a pin head for the soldering iron but got there in the end
