Afternoon guys.
I am in the process of designing a piece of tooling. Basically a solid shaft that is indexting. To lock the shaft in I will be using a ball bearing on a compression spring. How would I go about machining/drilling the dished seats for the bearing to sit in to. The seats are not deep about a quarter of the depth/size of the bearing. Picture below is a drawing of what I am trying to explain. It's not to scale.
