the jaws aren't reversible in the 3 jaw chuck. u need both sets. an internal and an external set . the 4 jaw are reversible it would be preferable top get a chuck that fits your lathe rather than get a backplate and fit a chuck to itI want a 5” self centring 3 jaw chuck where the jaws are reversible
