I doNt think Toolstation have anything there own everything ive had from them has amanafactures name somewhere that you should be able to Google

Nothing to do with drainage but I bought a propane regulator based on the photo in their book, looked good quality, brass fittings etc only to be sent a Silverline one. I wrote a bad review and they phoned me next day to apologize and refunded my payment.
Just make sure you get what you're looking at in the book or online.

good thing about going to counter in toolstation is they bring you all stuff to see before you pay for it , and you can ask to see something if your just interested in it

I have had a few bits that they tend to swap the manufactures around as well.

All to the same spec but not identical to the photo. Not really a big deal on something like an electrical plug but some things it can be an issue.

As above, try and get in store and they will be happy to get them all out for you.

Never really used them except for when I need a specific flush valve

I tend to use Poly or Osma underground, you know it’s decent then

Thats the thing Wickes is part of the same company but lots more expensive even with a trade discount. Same a screwfix and B & Q.
I will try them before screwfix, generally have found parts to be of higher quality.

Used lots of the underground drainage with out any issues, haven't used the gully's as last lot we did mage up wooden former and cast in place on site.

Spend quite a bit at Toolstation, purely because the prices at Screwfix only seem to increase more than they decrease. But, I suspect a lot of what they sell is the cheaper end of the market, saying that though, I do have a couple of Silverline bits (I know, I know ) and they’ve lasted a couple of years of daily use..

I use them occasionally but as said be wary of tools as they stock a lot of silverline.

I found them a bit of a strange one as they have some good gear as well (I’ve bought some Plano tool bags from them and they stock Milwaukee power tools) so you have to pick carefully what you get from there, but they can be good value.

Picked up a set of the Milwaukee drill/driver units last week, or rather had them delivered. The bonus of instore is that they bring you everything before you pay for it, so you can check quality and if it’s suitable for what you want..

They also have demo days, last one at Bristol had a bbq and they were quite happy to let me unwrap drums of cable to have a look at.

There were also a group of builders there chucking cordless drills into cement mixers and bashing 2 hammers together and they didn't seem bothered by any of it.

I generally tend to avoid buying anything from them which doesn't have the manufacturer listed on the catalogue entry, if quality is necessary. That's when stuff can be variable. If the manufacturer is named, you know what you'll be getting.

In screwfix they take your order then your money, then send the order to someone who is normally on a break, asleep, on a go slow, looking at Facebook and leave you standing around like a spare part waiting for someone to bring your order, buy time it arrives you have probably forgot what you have ordered and just want to chuck it all in a bag and try and work how to make up the 25 mins of your day you just lost.

Never ever venture into screwfix on a weekend. Usually a 20 minute wait to get to the till while the diy brigade discus the merits of this over that or getting a refund om a £1.99 product

I'm lucky I have an account with elecrifix there trade counter next door to screwfix and the lass said just go there on a Saturday and beat the que

Not in the Inverness Screwfix branch. Counter assistant takes your order and goes to pick the product(s), brings them for you to see then you do the paying thing.

It's smaller than most city outlets, I expect, so maybe more 'personal' ?

I've used the roofing division of this company for Brett Martin cast iron effect guttering. My local supplier said they couldn't even buy it at the price these guys were selling at.

This is their drainage division and British made Brett Martin kit is similar price to Toolstation

I would but cant have am account wihout quals. Same for plumbfix.
Ended up opening trade accounts with other wholesalers that arent so choosy.
