Nice Escort RS restoration

Saw this on Facebook, a nicely done restoration of an Escort RS

This guy did one thing I didn't, he bead blasted the engine and transmission and got the engine parts zinc plated. I didn't want to take those apart as it would all get too much.

I had a yellow one. Loved it, but after the hedge / dry stone wall remodeling was sadly beyond repair!
