Couldn't find the original thread/forsale (it's been a while!)

...but it's doing my OCD no end of grief.

Got a couple of other boxes of springs somewhere.
Now I just need to sort them properly for long term storage

You would hate my hubby’s shed. His collection of springs are all jumbled together in one box, with each one trapped inside the other, so when you lift one, they all go with it.

Sort of a spring solidarity.

I may have just come up with a use for these ultra strong springs. There must be some clever "stripper widget' I can make to clip onto the flypress. I have tried a stripper bar (steady!) but it's a pain to use when there are so many different sizes of punch tooling and workpieces.

Being sprung and fitted to the tool holder means you can more easily align the part prior to giving it a bonk. I haven't made one yet mind. Gonna do a quick google to see if someone else already has.

<edit> yeah. "stripper bar" as a search term is somewhat predictably not that helpful
