I broke one last week, dentist has just quoted £ 400 to fit a crown (whatever that consists of).
To me that's a hell of a lot of money for something without wheels or that doesn't have a plug .

The thing is, the gap allows your cheeks to sort of hollow out. Makes you look old (ask me how I know!)

Actually don't ask, I'll tell you, I scrimped and saved and blew a fair bit on three implants. Best money I ever spent. Looked better, felt better, eat better. If you ping me, happy to say where I had it done. I can thoroughly recommend my chap (and he was cheap!)

I tried to blag an ultrasonic bath from the excitable new dentist at ours, and very nearly got one too, until he had second thoughts and decided to “just check with the practice manager”

My late father (born 1903, so before much in the way of real pain free dentistry) had for his 21st birthday all his teeth out and a set of dentures.
My father and his parents agreed that it would save him from any future dental problems and the associated expense.
Apparently he had them all extracted in one sitting.

I had an arc welder for mine.

I think I heard about grave robbing for teeth first when I had a tour of the church next to the Jamaica Inn (or Jam Pot as it is affectionately known). I think its St Michael's on Cornhill in London. Evidently the vicar's wife had a good set of gnashers and died young and somebody had it on their toes with her teeth not long after she was buried.

I'm not sure if it was the same vicar, but one of the church's vicars had a dispute with a trader next door so the trader had the guttering of his building discharge its water through a gargoyle aimed at the entrance of the church, I think it is still there today but carries no water any more

Should have got the dentist to grout in some gold plated flat screwdriver tips where he removed the teeth from.

Different subject:- How do I get the latest SNNC videos? I used to get notifications at my email or facebook, but they have stopped coming.
I can look them up on youtube but have difficulty finding the latest ones.
