Ok, here we are -












It all started with this carver clamp with a thick coating of overspray.

Once I had stripped off the crud with electrolysis & wire brushes it looked rather nice in bare metal & it seemed a shame to paint it. So instead it got a coat of Matts graphite wax paste and this was the result.

The photo doesn't do it justice, it has a really nice satin sheen to it. If the finish is durable enough I have another really badly chipped carver clamp that might get the same treatment.
