As soon as I saw the offer I immediately put some bearing pullers I've had on my watch list into the basket and dashed to the checkout only to find they're not in the qualifying category

They got me - just spent £145 on something that i wanted, but wasn't going to buy right now... Yep, you've guessed it, not in the 20% off category.

Like i say, not the end of the world, as i wanted the item anyhow, but frustrating that i didnt get the £30 or so off!

The way to do it is add it to your basket then select "Pay only this seller" you can then check the discount applies before you confirm payment

It would have applied to all relevant items in your basket including multiple sellers, a number of their recent vouchers have allowed this multiple items / sellers discount up to the maximum value. I bought about 20 smaller things and the discount was applied to everything.
