Bearing search.....

I've been trying to get 2 bearings for the use on the linisher I'm planning and have an original [very knackered] Toro one to match. No part number is visible on it anywhere.

Despite trying the local suppliers in Inverness [much sucking of teeth and head shaking] and internet searching by dimensions I've drawn a blank until today when I found this

Trouble is, they're in America and there doesn't seem to be any available in the UK....... [Wonder if @skotl is going across the Pond......]

Any suggestions for a source? My brain hurts after Googling the part numbers and trying to cross-reference between different makes. It's probably simple enough if you come fresh to it......

Edit: just put the numbers into our local bearing supplier and he is showing them as in stock.

Hi slim, use these bearings on our mowers in work i have got them ordered in in the past but they end up costing as much as main dealer as they make them odd sizes , they can be ordered from any toro dealer or lely uk,toro part no is 93-4237.
Failing that i have about 20 in work il send you a pair in the post if you have trouble

haven't u got a lathe . u can normaly make things fit that are standard either bore stuff out turn shafts down or sleeve stuff

If you're making the item to use them in, why not make it to use more readily available bearings?

I'm using shortened front rollers with cast alloy roller ends from a ride-on mower, there's not much scope for re-machining them as the bearing recess walls are quite thin already.

Lawn mower makers love to use odd size bearings. A common one has a metric outer race with an imperial inner race.
I think it comes from European manfacturers sourcing standard components like shafts from USA which will be in inches and then trying to make them fit their metric mowers.
