Picked this up for £12 to move some vices on, but as I like it I was going to make it a prop on my 1930's trailer!
So I thought its a Willmot from Dudley with the wrong wheels so can any one tell me more?
Do we not have a trolley collector?

Hi, Is it for moving glass carboys in their cages and the suspension is to reduce some of the shock loading on uneven ground?

Can you set the pins to give different angles maybe to make it easier to get up stairs with a heavy load?

I think @WorkshopChris is right in part, those aren't suspension units.

The pins are in a slot with a spring underneath giving some shock resistance

As it looks like it has some age to it , it may well have had solid cast iron wheels.

I've got an old wooden one with cast wheels here. There are lots of pics of similar online. I chased away the woodworm and tidied them up a few years back, they're a nice looking thing that is still totally viable and gets used.
