Dewalt cordless do I go fully brushless?

I'm going to upgrading my Dewalt cordless, generally buying a kit provides the best value as long as it has what you need.

I had pretty much decide on a 6 piece where the drill and impact driver are brushless but I've just discovered for an extra £130 I can get a set where the other tools are brushless too. Only thing I'm not keen on is the brushless grinder has a side switch and not a trigger like the non brushless version.

I'm thinking and extra £130 would be well spent at this point.

So we are clear I'm buying Dewalt as I've always have very good service from them and I already have other batteries and chargers which are compatible so I don't need a debate on whether I should buy Milwakee,Makita,Metabo etc

I got a brushless dewalt its light and powerful and I'm well impressed with it .never use my Makita one now

WHS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I have been well impressed by the couple of brush less Boschs that have, I imagine the Dewalt ones will be well worth the extra.

I replaced my Dewalt gear that was nicked with Makita brushless, doesn’t feel as sturdy but they take some abuse. I will probably go Dewalt when I replace them, will be brushless

Worth the extra dosh to go brushless if you have got it.
Better battery life, more power in the tool, no maintenance and lighter weight motors. It’s all good.
As your going to be splashing mega bucks on a six piece set then I’d imagine £130 is probably a pee in the ocean compared to the original cost of the set so........ go brushless.

It's either £763 or £899, either way there is a regular use tool that I'll have to add as they both have different tools. Both come with 3x 5ah batteries.

Even the torch is brushless

If buying a lot get it from a decent supplier as will only warrant tools that are ment for the uk,

(Got caught with US imported tools before)
But mega happy with the dewalt xr range.

It will come from Toolstop most likely. The naked tools are good value at Screwfix so the addittions will come from there. They are slightly more expensive but I like the collect option.

Ffx usually have good deals on the bundles too.

The brushless kit is the same price at FFX but the delivery from Toolstop is always next day and they use APC which means even I order on a Friday I can get it Saturday because they they have a local depot who are more than happy for you to collect
