Clearing out!!

Hi all

I've become 'The hoarder next door' as I collect all sorts of stuff, At the mo i've almost a hundred and sixty airguns and as i'm not getting any younger, I've decided to drastically reduce my collection as if I keel over the missus will be stuck with all the guns and no idea what to do with them!, I also have around 3,000 watches, 30 sets of Binoculars, 30 guitars and a heap of knives and Bonsai trees!

Anyhow, As i'm 60 next and rather arthritic AND asthmatic with manflu at the moment, I started clearing the boxroom which is mainly the gunroom but all sorts of other stuff had been wedged in there too, It's almost finished me off just clearing this, the smallest room, I have the other spare room, The loft, Two sheds and a 25' garage to go as well!!

Anyone else think I should spread it out until summer??!!

Sorry if it appeared that way, I'm taking them to a vintage airgun fayre at Melbourne in Derby, Have a table booked to take a load to get rid of!!

The missus doesn't mind the watches (And the pistols) as they don't take much room to store but recently each time I bring a rifle home i'm greeted with a scowl!!

A quick dip in my fabricator's skip got me this, the skip was full to the gunwhales. I got mostly round bar although there's a couple of bits of stainless tube too - sadly all the flat bar was in lengths too long to fit in the car and the lads were all away at lunch so I couldn't even get it chopped into shorter lengths. But....there'll be another day

You need a battery operated grinder with a slitting disc fitted!, We have a Milwaukee at work with a 5Ah battery, I love playing with it!!

I could have had much more, but keeping it at my end is the problem. They're not far away, though.

ur's makes my junk / mess seem quite tame.......sell most of it and take a holiday in the sun.......all that damp air up there.....I left 15 years ago.....and my chest is clear now.......

If you are 60 and have a lifetime of collected items just sell them off and you will probably find what you have is worth more than a poorly preforming pension that you could have invested in..which makes you a financial genius not a hoarder

When my little 72"x48" shed went rotten, The contents were wedged in to the garage, I replaced the rotten shed with a shiny new steel 120"x50" replacement, I filled it and still can't get in to the garage!!
