I like the look of the screw on cartridges, no mess or airlocks (the big problem with poor grease guns).
Unfortunately I can't get the high quality grease that I use in that type of cartridge, so it's a no go.
Snap on make a pretty good grease gun for surprisingly low money, I have a lever type which is OK and expect the pistol type would also be fine.

It’s the Morris K2 longlife complex grease I use, having spent ages comparing specs it’s all I use on bearings. Couldn’t find it in big cartridges and if I did it would have to be available from the suppliers work haa an account with.
I haven't gone as far as comparing specs but is it not just EP2 longlife? I'd be surprised if you can't get a similar spec in threaded. I generally find agricultural spares places are the cheapest as they sell literally thousands of them.

No it’s much better stuff.
There’s probably something else similar but it would take a lot of time to get through all the figures and actually find any locally. Those screw cartridges don’t seem as popular round here.
