If I ever get another one of those for a Xmas or birthday present the person doing the giving will need an extraction before attempting to sit again.

I must have half a dozen at least still unopened.

I went and got the angle grinder @£25. I was going to get two but you have to get two different items to qualify for the £35 deal

I got two of the angle grinders for £35. I ordered online and collected. It didn't say anywhere that they had to be different items.

Not used them in anger yet, but they seem ok. Light enough to use one-handed. Soft start, two different guards and little rubber feet on the top so they don't roll around when you put them on the bench with the disc facing up.

yea you could but you might get the same pressent back next year and my way would be so much more fun

I'm not fully convinced about these later McAllister Angle Grinders. My original one is still going strong several years later after plenty of abuse, But these newer ones seem to have had a different switch fitted & unfortunately my second one failed after little use! The replacement I got has a different switch again, Which says to me they have come to realise that the switches are of poor design & that they have changed suppliers.

B&Q only sell them so that you can throw them in the skip the next day...
