I have a webasto cab heater in mine
The 110 I had was a V8 -Webastos don't run on petrol sadly!
The Discovery heater works pretty well - but takes about 30 miles to warm up..........
Do you have a remote or timer on yours?

Had one the V6 4 mo a few years ago, same there, just seemed to go everywhere as long as it wasn't too deep

I put a seperate tank in the side locker for mine, didnt want to mess with the main tank.
Just a normal thermostat switch, my defender heaters are really good though, once they get going i dont need the webasto.

No an old 300tdi - last of them.
It is one of the few vehicles I actually own - only does about 1000 a year pulling trailers. I normally rent or lease.

The horses in the fields by me look terrible, The had ice on them this afternoon when i took a few carrots round, From what i was told they are going to be used ro meat, I hope thats not true.

my 300TDi is at normal running temperature within a couple of miles of leaving home and the temp stays spot on normal from then on. It does have a good clean cooling system, fresh antifreeze and a working thermostat. I use an electric fan and apart from me testing it every so often it never activates.

Driver of a Norwegian Air Ambulance dropped us suddenly into a small field near a service area in the national park - I thought he had been called from test duty into service as it was winter and ski time.
He turned round to me and said - we will eat here, you have credit card yes?

I hope not either - some people aren't fit to keep animals.
When I was in the Brecon Beacons there were some poor horses kept in a scabby field all year round - no shelter at all. They had plenty of food and looked ok but I really felt for them - they were normal horses not mountain ponies. I used to take them a tub full of veggies from time to time - they loved human company!

Well it makes some difference for sure but if the fluid fan is working it should still warm up quite quickly, it was pretty much identical in the Discovery before I pulled the engine. I find slow warm up is usually a duff 'stat. The heater is very good but I have stuck a bilge fan in the intake to pep the blower up.
