Hi All. I have been browsing this Forum for a week or two and thought it was time to make a post.
I live in Lichfield Staffs . I dabble in the garage/workshop with mostly wood(not very well) I also cast pewter in a medieval re-enactment group. I have a 2008 Aldi buzz box that I have used about 4 times since I got it! Since buying a cheap auto darkening mask off ebay,My welding has improved from the chicken poo I was producing before. I need to uprate the electrics in the garage to a 16 amp supply but that is no big deal. Hope to contribute more to the forums in the future. Dave

I like medieval stuffs. I play an online medieval fantasy RP game mostly text based. I'm quite keen to try my hand at a Larping weekend sometime (next summer hopefully)

'Live Action Role Play'

Generally dress up and get into character. Events might include battles between factions using foam weapons. Sometimes there are methods for scoring points depending on what type of event and rules.

You could say that paintballing is a form of Larping.

cheers Td, role play eh, seen those type of events at large fairs ,hell of a lot goes into all the costumes and kit eh.

Not really into LARP myself. Although some of our group do it. I just can't see the point of pay to play. We portray a household and village of the wars of the roses. We have a medieval Carpender,Blacksmith, a couple of pewter casters, cooks and artists. We can and have made tools and other implements for other groups and repair armour. All in the middle of a field!
