A few of my own random jobs...

No this is not Pauls thread, this is for my own random anything jobs.
I will begin with todays job, a stainless seat for a memorial bench along Weymouth's harbourside.

I originally subbed out the fabrication of the slats to a company for laser cutting and bending the radii. A misinterpretation of the drawing meant they came in at 30mm wide, not the 50mm they should be
They made great spacers for the correct slats which I fabricated and bent myself in the end. I now have 18 wasted slats... I think a bench for the garden might be on the cards

All welded up. I used preload for every slat welded which brought them out near flat. It still bent like a banana lengthways though.

Not as tidy when you look in the other direction. I have been in the unit for 4 months, not enough time to get too messy. Won't be long though

We used rawl bolts, M10 stainless with security heads. The slab is Portland stone I believe, relatively soft, easy to drill.

Some of us like a bit of mystery, don't we? My friend did wonder why I had the helmet in the car.

Not my design, I was given an adequate drawing with dimensions to work from, which made life a lot easier.

thats for the rubbish to be sloted between because they cant be bothered to walk 3 meters to the bin

Another random job:
A ramp for a pallet wrapping machine @1200mm x 1000mm.
Had some concerns about weight, but came out ok. A bit awkward maybe for one person, but plenty light enough for two to carry.
