No this is not Pauls thread, this is for my own random anything jobs.
I will begin with todays job, a stainless seat for a memorial bench along Weymouth's harbourside.

I originally subbed out the fabrication of the slats to a company for laser cutting and bending the radii. A misinterpretation of the drawing meant they came in at 30mm wide, not the 50mm they should be
They made great spacers for the correct slats which I fabricated and bent myself in the end. I now have 18 wasted slats... I think a bench for the garden might be on the cards

All welded up. I used preload for every slat welded which brought them out near flat. It still bent like a banana lengthways though.
