Quiet light pull switches

I have two light pull switches in my house in rooms around my bedroom. They are so noisy, they can wake me up at night!

Can anyone recommend a quiet light pull switch? I realise that they will all make some noise but anyone come across a particularly quiet version of the switch??!

I am usually that far gone, I wake myself up when I get wet fingers, then realise, AH I havnt put the light on.

buy a cheap crappy one there normally quiet good ones have a positive click

mine is on a lowered plastic ceiling its like a rather loud sound box

The one the sparky fitted when I got a shower installed is exactly like that.

reason being it has to take a heavy load so the springs on the contacts are strong . just leave it turned on

I know, but if the cheap ones are loud then I guess as a one off its worth it as an answer to my problem. Unless you can recommend a cheap quiet one?
