If you don't already know, you can remove the permanent marker by rubbing with paper towel soaked in wd40. Takes a bit of elbow grease but comes up clean eventually

found that out when I was given a "ruined" whiteboard

White spirit, thinners etc also works but it one of those round tuit jobs

I looked at sketchup a while back and it seemed to be more orientated towards architectural type stuff, is that the case?

Thats not hideous...not by a long stretch....try bright pink with white swirls....and pink foam wallpaper....thats what was in a house when we moved in...

I did some Multipanels in Garden Pink Lace, you will have to google it as I'm not posting a pic

I have worked from plans & i have built things from the sketch on the back of a fag packet. The last boat i built was designed by me using Delftship pro software then built. I knew in my head what i wanted & she turned out pretty good.
She keeps winning races which is the icing on the cake!

We used to install cabling at Butlins in Minehead, I gave up using a spirit level as level sockets looked weird in the rooms as everything else was on the slant including the door and window frames. We reckoned that their carpenter must have had one leg 2" shorter than the other!

What works well with minimal effort is to go over the permanent marker with a permanent marker and wipe off before it dries.

Dry wipe/normal whiteboard pens do it too.

I have a couple of whiteboards that are about 12" x 18", great for roughing out ideas along with a large one on the wall for to do info
