Units that (subjectively!) look appealing to me at present are -
£35 700w Bosch -
http://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-gws-710-700w-4-angle-grinder-230v/5726p
2.1kg
£80 900w Metabo -
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Metabo-W9-115-Quick-Angle-Grinder/dp/B00N4TJX34
2.1kg
£95 1300w Hitachi -
https://www.wellyweld.com/products/G13SB3-Hitachi-Angle-Grinder-125mm-240v-72739.aspx
1.9kg
Im wondering if i shouldnt just pick up the Bosch tomorrow, and see how i go with that. Maybe if its not got enough power for tough work, get the Hitachi later? But that may be almost as bad as getting another cheap aldi grinder and promising myself a nicer one later (been there, done that!)
One thing that id like to ask of anyone who has these -
How easy is it to take the guard on and off? On the aldi ones, its a pain, which means it does not get put back on again....
