I bought a version over 25yrs ago at a kit car show - had to buy one new set of punch and anvil for it as the piece of stainless I tried it on won . . .
But if used correctly ie on material thickness and type within it's capabilities, it's very good. Used it not long ago for easy cutting of hard to get to bits. Works well with battery drill too, so nicely portable.
Looks and is described like a very handy attachment that you could take anywhere with a cordless drill, dunno how it would stand up to continuous use though.
If you buy a compressor you will find a great many other uses for it apart from nibbling.
I had an air nibbler for under £20 from Aldi not so long ago.
Sorry, I don't have an exact answer to your initial question.
the drill powered nibblers can generally cut thicker metal than the air powered ones. the worst thing about nibblers is the shrapnel that gets thrown everywhere
Last one I bought from Aldi takes out a continuous strip like the old hand squeeze monodex cutter did, unlike to punch and anvil job. Dunno if you get that kind as a drill attachment.
mines a turner nibbler... bought at a kit car show, don a lot of work... yes i have had to buy new cutters, but its beed a great bit of kit.... done a lot of stainless too
as said worse bit are the ejected horseshooes.... made an adaptor for mine to collect most of them...
fecking hurt when you kneel on them, and you get in trouble with the wife if they are in the bottom of your shoes when you walk n the house
