Mine is 5"
It's a real monster for a cordless I've never forced it to stop even cutting Aluminium bar it powers on. Very comparable to my 4.5" corded one. I get about 20-25 mins of cutting time out of a 4ah lump.

Which is of course plenty say an hour and half cutting with three (more if you have a charge up on the job available)

I use an old hitachi. Gutless of course, but priceless for collecting 6 metre lengths of steel and making them fit in my Fiat Seicento "works truck". The steel yard laughed the first time I asked them to just leave half a dozen 5mm x 25mm x 6 metre bars by my truck. Now they understand!

I had that issue once on a friday afternoon with box section for a trailer......sthil saw, sorted. Back in the day before battery tools.

Six lengths, cut into 2 metre lengths. That's a lot of hacksawing! I could bend it, but then its a pain in the nads straightening it all out. Two minutes with a grinder is definitely preferable!

Was thinking you were just cutting in half for a std van. Cut alsorts with hacksaw (keeps ya fit) but yeah
