Blast nozzles, where to get them ?

Ok i have been trying to find blast gun nozzles for a new style dead man blast gun. I have founf loads on ebay at a mixed size pack of 4 for around £30

Machine Mart sell the same for less than a fiver.

BUT all are mixed sizes as in 2mm / 2.5 mm / 3mm / 3.5mm

Why is that folk done sell a pack of 5 in one size ?

Also anybody know anywhere that will them in same size nozzles in a one size pack, i need 2-2.5mm.

By the sounds you get 4 nozzles, at that price anyway aint bad even if it is a weird set of different sizes.

The blasitclean Tungsten are the wrong type .

Yep thats why i got then as it is free, only paid the £3.

Anyway, looks like you got a good deal so that's the important thing.

Forget the dead man, just turn the media valve off then turn the air valve off. Doesn't take long at all for the pot to depressurise. And if you get a tungsten nozzle from blast clean get the wide spread nozzle

I would like to have proper control of the gun/sand/air while i am lying on my back while blasting so if i need to shut it off i can.

Sounds a bit dodgy just having the media/ air blasting out the end of a hose anyway.

the type u have fill the hose with grit when u close it turn it back on and it may block in the jet. after u try it u will probably know why

I've seen this before, where you attach an open nozzle. But I just spent £25 on a deadman! I don't have a blast room, so having the deadman means I only blast exactly when I need to, so less dust. Plus the ceramic nozzles last long enough for me.

When you turn the media valve off the media stops there and then, it's only air coming out!! You are never going to be that far from the pot due to hose length. Don't see the need to stop until the pot is empty unless the job is completed. I use mostly the cheap ceramic tips hence the nozzle set up it do have a tungsten tip too. I only use the tungsten tip when blasting aluminium oxide. I use glass beads and wet blasting glass grit

I will give it a go and see how it goes. I did notice there was a build up of media with the gun when you shut it off then run it again.

If I ever use soda and sand together I will fit the gun.

Or fit a short length of hose from the Y piece fitting to the nozzle. That sounds better

Just called them and they appologised and said i have been sent the wrong ones and will have the listed type sent out.

I am puzzled now....easy done lol

and in there shop i cant find a postal charge as in your link

yours shows postage charge mine doesnt.

And he said when i called him they sent the wrong ones and will send the correct ones. No mention of extra charge for postage.
