I have a lambretta panel with keeps tearing at a pressure point. I was told to weld some copper onto the reverse side of the panel. Now i have some copper tubing thats about .8mm and .5mm which i thought i could cut in half and flatten. My panel is sheet metal, not sure of the type buts its 70's or 1980's and could be indian, it looks like alloy.
What sort of wire thickness would i need, and what settings? for a clarke 135te also is argon/co2 recommended?
