Hi, You can easily make your own pedal that could be every bit as good as the inflatedly priced offerings. It would help if you understood how they work electronic wise and what is good mechanics in a pedal. Essentially tho if you can peek inside an expensive one you will be surpised whats there and definitely want to fabricate your own. They are really not complicated at all. Any volume pedal, WahWah or such from Ebay @ £10 or so could make a good carcass if you have done your research (peeking).. Oh and R-tech pedals have the Resistor Pot value stuck on the side of them... For instance - FT-47K-CL would indicate a 47 Kilo Ohm Log Pot type.... Good luck
