I have just got round to giving mine a bit of a clean.....I say clean as it was covered in thick cutting paste when I got it.
Anyway I don't do restored ad I can never get it as good as you guys but a clean is fair enough. Whilst putting it back together I realised I can't remember what I had for dinner last Wednesday let along how it came apart.
luckily a drill has 4 major parts . one at the bottom one the holds it all up. a great big 3 inch bar that can only fit one place and the drill bit that dangles down plus table with smiley face.
All sorted I suppose but no....I have a sort of jubilee clip that I think stops the head from dropping when the bolt is loosened.
And a weird thing that fits over the column but instead of having a small plate to hold the chuck key it has a large hole in it.....pic to follow.
Oh it's angled as well. what's it for and does it fit under or over the table...
