Gasless wire - tried it and didn't like it, results were poor, although that's probably me.
Pub gas - this is a pure food grade CO2 bottle I have, originally destined for a pub I admit. It doesn't freeze but the regulator gets quite cold and has condensation on it, the gas still flows nicely. Could this still be an issue? Never noticed it before when my disposables would freeze.
Wire feed fix - might try it...
I'll see how it is at the weekend with the bits i've done so far. Unless i'm driving somewhere to pick up a better welder, i'm eying up something like a 160 amp jobby which is probably more suitable anyway.
