Got to agree about the waiting. I find the longer the better. Repeated application over a few days always works for me. That assumes you have the time to do that. This chap might have a very annoying voice but his in depth testing is brilliant.
He found "liquid wrench" the best closely followed by acetone/atf mix.
He also found that waiting 24hrs after application was better in nearly all cases.
I swear by plusgas as well. Strangely he hasn't tested it so maybe not used in America although it sounds American.Got to agree about the waiting. I find the longer the better. Repeated application over a few days always works for me. That assumes you have the time to do that.
Plusgas seems to work well.
I first used plus gas in work, 20 odd years ago.Just read up on Plusgas. Developed in Britain many moons ago.
It was around in the mid 60’s, used in my first job on leaving school, I don’t know if it was new then though, no idea how long it’s been around.I first used plus gas in work, 20 odd years ago.
Since 1953 apparently. It was around in the mid 60’s, used in my first job on leaving school, I don’t know if it was new then though, no idea how long it’s been around.
We tried Plusgas against WD40 in work we all felt Plusgas was better, but I use what ever the bloke at the jumble has for £2.50 a can
Brake fluid is horrible stuff that I dont want on my hands or anywhere, near where I am working.if plus gas isnt handy used brake fluid is good , thinned with diesel , I find acetone too flammable in some situation.
Plusgas is always my go to for anything seriously stuck.
