is it a serrated edge?
Yes serrated both sides - one fine one coarse - with a fork on the end.
Ach.... the thing is that they're great knives. Jo uses them all the time now, cos they're razor sharp and she feels more comfortable with them than the (still excellent) Ikea knives.Even after all the ball ache, they do look look.
You should do a review over a period of time
I’ve got a mora companion knife, razor sharp from the factory and excellent quality (cheap too!) , but carbon steel so needs to be kept dry and oiled.Any shooters/fishers on here will know mora knives, made in finland i think. Excellent knives, great steel and handles, and they are cheaper than the chinese junk. Don't know if they do kitchen or cooking though. If they did they did they would be well worth having.
Iv a James Martin 10” and 8” from Debenhams a few years back. A super cheap knife sharpener and a few times across it and it’s ok but I’d love to learn how to sharpen it properly.
Or saying that make my own knife since parms thread recently has had me thinking....
I think they were made by Richardsons who were one of the last volume cutlers in Sheffield. They were called Laser or Lazer knives.....Ive got some somewhere but the cut is awful I think...leaves crumbly edgesYes serrated both sides - one fine one coarse - with a fork on the end.

You keep your knives in a drawer?!I obviously don't do enough cooking as I just grab one from the knife drawer which has an assortment of types probably bought from Sainsburys (other super markets are available)
