I can afford the R-tech one.. But I just can't justify it.. I think the common sense approach is to buy the CUT 50... See how much I use it.. And if it becomes an essential part of my workshop, upgrade later...
AT £150 its not the end of the world if it doesn't work out.. But then again, if its hard to use then its going to put me off, and this is exactly the same situation I had with my first MIG...
So I am still not saying no to the R-Tech.
i cant justify buying from ebay as theres really no garantee that it will still work after 6 months as thats your garantee on ebay in my eyes
ive seen hypertherm and there so expensive i dont want to touch them but they are good machines resale value you is rather poor for an iver 1500.00 machine expect to get a third of what you paid for it rtech looks like it has a good resale value on them
cut 50 possible but not keen on garantee on the machine if you get a good one your lucky if you get a bad one nothin but trouble most people wont touch them to refurbish them as cheap and nasty machine
rtech yes but i dont own one but from what i have read they have a good service the question is is it worth replacing expensive boards or just buying new again for much better technology after years of use id rather go for much newer tech on a new machine than repair an old one though you still have some parts for the new machine
