No matter what I tried finish never as good as I would like.
My old Triumph only has a top speed of 1000rpm so on small diameter work nowhere near fast enough for carbide.
Then I tried these.
Designed for aluminium.
500rpm.
2nd slowest feed.
Mirror finish on Ali.
Mirror finish on brass.
Smooth ground finish on steel. Not Mirror but very nice indeed.
Only for fine cuts of course. And be careful they are flipping sharp!
