I tried them skf bearings and slapped the originals back in as there was lots of slop. Let me know how you get on with them.
From my current measurements - I believe it's 25.4 (1") diameter, around 84mm long when in position with the cut out at 55mm (to mesh with the shaft). What I'm needing is confirmation of the bolt dimensions and the individual lengths of the two parts... they appear to be asymmetric, how deep the curved cuts go, the hole/bolt diameter and as confirmation the gap between the edge of the cylindrical cut and the inner edge of the hole. I think from that I can manufacture a replacement.
Whats the knack ? agree regarding New bearings no better than the old ones on mine thinking of removing & returning To SKF with query regarding quality or counterfeit, as I understand SKF has biggest problem with this
