As mentioned in other posts a while back I ended up with a spare frame. A few years back I bought an American import 1100 L for the engine as the rest of it was shabby, and they're truly f'ugly anyway. So I now have the nice finished stock ET, and the bits necessary to build the two others.
There have been a few I'll do this, I'll do that plans but it really all came down to finding the 'right' donor for an engine to give me a starting point. Well that gap, and to be honest I reckon the running gear, has been sorted. I got an '04 1200 Bandit for reasonable money as it's a bit shabby on the engine paint, and untidy here and there. The thing that made it perfect for what I want aside from the price is that it's only done 11k miles. The bonus being it's in fine fettle and comes with a years ticket so I can have it on the road while I sort things out.
