How was the window held up then, the old piece of wood trick?.
Search for "Rave" manual on the web. They are quite widely available and are the LR workshop manuals.
Cheers

I'm really liking how easy it is to change things out
Just checked all under the car for chassis rust and I'm struggling to find more then a bit of flaking, I think it has been regularly wax oiled.
was really surprised at the boot floor.
boot floor looks to have been replaced original would have been painted red same as the car
They are a piece of **** to do but you'll need to order the bolts. What sort of condition is the window channel in? They like to rust out but can be replaced. It's about a 20min job to replace the regulator when you know what you're doing!. The two slotted holes allow you to pop two bolts into the regaulator, then slide in, lift up and hook into place. Do the other 4 bolt holes line up with the regulator? No? Then you've got the wrong two bolted in. Yes - then do them all up. Then the other two holes will be on the end of one of the arms, line those up and bolt in, then operate the motor until the window channel holes are accessible, slide the glass down and bolt into place. I think the bolts are M6x20 flanged head.Turns out there's no motor or regulator in here at all lol makes knowing how it goes in a little harder
It was driven back on the amber fuel light (8ish miles) so it must be near enough empty now, going to put some diesel in tomorrow, I'm assuming its not a very good idea to let it sit empty?
