Reading between the lines, the unspoken consensus was, keep things whole and put the whole thing somewhere hard to to look in. Not very exciting but "the sea" is probably hard to beat"Feed 'im to the pigs, 'Arry."
Hours? With the big ones I used it takes an age to get everything dragged to the road and stacked up at the chipper but then it will eat it all in minutes.Well impressed with this machine. It's an animal. Still got quite a lot left to chip, but a few hours with this, & it's chomping through it with a passion.
but then it will eat it all in minutes.
Welding on it is a bit rough though!
What isn't it on, these days. I think we tend to have an overly critical eye on that front, because of this forum. We've been spoilt by photo's of perfect welds.
Cracking bit of kit should have got one years ago!
I recall a body/DNA detective type talking on some radio program or another. While she didn't give disposal advice exactly, blending and spraying DNA everywhere via a woodchipper or similar was said to be a very bad idea.
he probably thinks he cant get done at weekend burning green material hes in for a surpriseIncidentally for all those in favour of having a bonfire for this sort of stuff. My neighbour (a developer/builder) has decided to spend the day burning some really green waste probably come from one of their sites. Overheard a few neighbours going around giving him an earful quite rightfully!
This is a hypothetical digression in the thread I presume? Or is it payment left in the old oak tree scenario? There's an episode of The New Detectives on Youtube where they discuss a case of a man who disposed of his wife by means of a chainsaw and woodchipper, firing the waste into a river.
He got caught, so probably not a great solution.
Only thing that puts me off buying is the storage. Got too much stuff in outbuildings/workshop. Can barely move. The chippings are priceless for mulching and walkways. Not a liability as some think.View attachment 443085
Got this filled with oil (just used 4 stroke garden machinery oil) and have put around 5 litres of petrol through it. Mostly was hedging and willow trimmings that’s been sat around in piles. Also a load of buckthorn type stuff absolutely lethal!
Cracking bit of kit should have got one years ago! Really easy to use and the chippings will prove useful around the garden.

Could you pop it over for weekend's lend?Just as an aside, here's our woodchipper, which lives in the garden (poor thing).
Maybe others could show theirs ?
We bought this one as a retiree from a local tree surgeon.
