That looks nice. When I left school, I did a bit of part time work for Victor Thomas, who was part of the eleven register. He had 2x eleven's and a seven, along with a few more very nice cars.
Yeits a 1460 cc climax engine.
Has it got a Coventry Climax in it?

I am just an amateur but I have a wheeling machine used it a lot on this car still learning naturally the scrap Bonnet I was given spent hours repairing it aluminium gas welding is not improving lol.Fab!

When I was about14 my next door neighbour raced an 11 and a minor 1000. I sent many an uncomfortable mile crouched on the floor on the way to meetings with him .He didn't have the second seat cover. My main job as a gofer was to stop rubberneckers from leaning on the wheel 'blisters' as they were very thin ally and deformed at a touch. Fabulous memories!

Sorry no pictures . Probably around1959/60. We went to Belgium GP and the next week to the Le Mans 24 hrs in the 1000 the year that Chris Bristow was killed at Spa. We had the trick exhaust fall off of the 1000 and drove away from Le Mans with all the supercars of the time and out 'noised' them all.any pictures what year ?

That's stretching the memory. No idea of reg no. Pretty sure his name was Peter and I think Watson. Address was Birdwood road, Maidenhead. Car was bright Yellow and was fitted with an Aquaplane head . I have a feeling he worked for Castrol as we had Pits passes for the Races. Interesting to find any details.Remember the reg number or the chaps Name were you in the Wiltshire area then? so many questions it is quite likely the eleven still exists 250 made 300 survive
Unless you took two pics with the same IMG1557 number, at exactly the same time of 8:44, they are the same pic. They're not dupes! The two pics were taken at different times to show the paint drying!! ;-)))

Absolutely no recollection of reg no. and the name Andy also doesn't ring a bell. I wonder how many owners has it been through. My neighbour was the original constructor if that helps.ORX 756
